Morning Sunrise Smoothie

  Fruit and vegetable smoothies are popular breakfast foods for good reason: They are fast, easy, nutritious, delicious, and portable! This one is like a liquid sunset in a glass.

  

Ingredients

Makes 1 smoothie

  2 medium carrots, diced

  1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

  2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped

  1 tablespoon coconut oil

  1 teaspoon ground turmeric

  Juice of 1 lemon

  1 cup water

  In a blender, combine all of the ingredients and process until smooth.
