Chicagoans will enjoy another summer-like day, with the temperature predicted to hit what would be a record-setting 83 degrees on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Sure it's April, but the weather is more like the middle of summer! So if you are heading for the beach today, remember Lake Michigan water temps are still dangerously cold (lower to middle 40s).
