Jens Grede, who launched the fashion brand Skims with Kim Kardashian and wife Emma Grede, has joined the board of directors at United Talent Agency.

Grede, the CEO of Skims, is also chairman of the fashion brand Frame andinvests in consumer and media brands via his holding company, Popular Culture.

Grede and business partner Erik Torstensson earlier sold their market agency The Saturday Group and its subsidiaries to Omnicom and Interpublic Group to pivot to other consumer and media businesses.

Grede joins a UTA boardroom after Kramer succeeded longtime leader Jeremy Zimmer as CEO on June 1. Zimmer, the UTA co-founder, shifted to serving as a board member and executive chairman, with Paul Wachter remaining as chairman of the board at the talent agency.

Zimmer led UTA through a significant expansion period, completing some 19 acquisitions, per the company, and partnering with firms like Klutch Sports Group. UTA also secured private equity investmentfrom EQT, in a bid to further turbocharge its growth.
