Hasbro Entertainment President Olivier Dumont Exits-December 2024
Dec 27, 2025 8:15 PM

Hasbro Entertainment president Olivier Dumont is exiting the company.

Hasbro is the toy company that holds the rights to Peppa Pig, PJ Masks, Transformers, G.I. Joe, and My Little Pony (among others), all of which have been adapted into various films and series. It also makes board games like Monopoly and Scrabble, the kind that could and are (somehow) also being transformed by Hollywood for the screen.

What makes me proudest isnt just the shows or films we delivered, but the everlasting memories we created for children and families all over the world, Dumont wrote in a LinkedIn blog post. Dumont, who was once CEO of PJ Masks studio Toy Box, did not specify where hell next play in muddy puddles.

As for whats next, Im excited to explore new opportunities to build, lead, and create, he wrote.

In 2023, Hasbro sold its Entertainment One (eOne) division to Lionsgate for $500 million and Dumont took on his new title. The toymaker acquired eOne four years prior the $4 billion deal brought Peppa Pig and PJ Masks to Hasbro.

After an incredible journey that began at Entertainment One and continued through at Hasbro after the acquisition, the time has come for me to hand over my dice, cards, and action figures and pass the torch.

What makes me proudest isnt just the shows or films we delivered, but the everlasting memories we created for children and families all over the world. From Peppa Pig to PJ Masks, Transformers to My Little Pony, I had the joy of working with visionary creators, partners, and colleagues to bring these beloved brands to life in new and meaningful ways.

At eOne, we grew from a passionate team of 20 to more than 200, building something truly special together. Over the past 15 years, Ive seen and been inspired by an unparalleled level of collaboration, integrity, and creativity. We built high-functioning teams not through hierarchy, but through empowerment: trusting people to do their best work, take bold risks, and bring their imagination to families everywhere. And the results just followed as we collectively built two $1B+ brands.

Im deeply grateful to the many colleagues, creators, partners and friends who shared this adventure with me. And Ill always treasure being part of an industry where play wasnt just what we made, it was our purpose.

As for whats next, Im excited to explore new opportunities to build, lead, and create. For now, Im celebrating the ride, the people, and the memories we built together. Thank you, Entertainment One and Hasbro, for the adventure of a lifetime.
