AMC Networks CFO Patrick O’Connell to Exit for New Job
AMC Networks CFO Patrick O’Connell to Exit for New Job-March 2024
Mar 5, 2026 9:43 AM

AMC Networks chief financial officer Patrick OConnell is exiting the company after more than three years in the job.

The executive has decided to undertake an opportunity outside the media industry, AMC Networks announced on Thursday, without offering further specifics. OConnell will remain at the company until March while a search for his replacement has begun.

OConnell will appear in the companys fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call.

In a statement, AMC Networks CEO Kristin Dolan called OConnell a trusted colleague and steady leader. Dolan added that OConnells decision comes with our full support, and we wish him every success in this next chapter. OConnell was named CFO of AMC Networks in August of 2022 after a career that spanned finance, media and e-commerce. He came to the entertainment company from BRANDED, a digital consumer platform, where he was chief strategy officer. Prior to that, OConnell worked at CBS and Goldman Sachs.

As CFO of AMC Networks, OConnell oversaw the finances of a portfolio spanning the streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE and the channels AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, SundanceTV and We TV.

I am grateful to the Dolan family, the Board and the Companys leadership team for their support, OConnell said in a statement. It has been a privilege to work with such a talented organization. I am proud of what we accomplished together and am confident in the future of AMC Networks.
