Recellularization
Recellularization is the process of repopulating the decellularized organ with new cells. These cells can be derived from the recipient’s own body (autologous cells) or from another donor (allogeneic cells). The choice of cell source depends on factors such as availability, compatibility, and the specific organ being regenerated.
