Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx announced that she won’t be running for reelection in 2024.

Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson unveiled his transition team — and it includes leaders ranging from former police detectives to prominent activists.

The jurors in the “ComEd Four” trial heard closing arguments.

And there will be some familiar faces on President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign trail: U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth and Quentin Fulks, a former top political adviser to Gov. J.B. Pritzker.
