Wanted: red or a white—or in Jon Bon Jovi’s case, a rosé-February 2024
Feb 12, 2026 4:40 AM

Celebrity brands of alcohol are becoming more and more commonplace, so we can’t really blame famous New Jerseyian Jon Bon Jovi for wanting to get in on some wine action. But did he have to focus on rosé? Worse, did he have to call it “Hampton Water”?

Unsavory title aside, The Daily Beast posts today that Bon Jovi and his son Jesse Bongiovi, are not just producing a new brand of rosé, but are “trying to change the wine world.” Bon Jovi says the name “tries to tie together the posh lifestyles of the Hamptons and the South of France,” and the wine has been selling “very quickly” at around $25 a bottle, so much so that some New York stores are already selling out.

Bon Jovi launched Hampton Water at the Versace mansion last week, and sales should only get brisker as the rosé-friendly warmer months approach. Bongiovi says that the rosé brand is “a lot more relatable. It’s a lot easier to pick up and enjoy.” Hey, just like Bon Jovi’s music, actually. Although, even though “Bed Of Rosés” was right there, the singer refused to consider it for a wine title. “There’s no need to whore out the Bon Jovi name,” he cautions. “I would never do something like that.”
