Tyriq Withers is joining Maika Monroe in the forthcoming feature version of Reminders of Him.

Vanessa Caswill is directing Universals adaptation of the best-selling Colleen Hoover novel. Hoover wrote the script with Lauren Levine for the project focusing on motherhood and the redemptive power of love.

Monroe was previously announced to star as lead character Kenna Rowan.

Withers can soon be seen in Sonys new film I Know What You Did Last Summer and Universals Jordan Peele-produced horror flick Him that also stars Marlon Wayans.

Hoovers books have become hot properties following the success of last years It Ends With Us. At CinemaCon last week, Amazon MGM Studios shared a video teasing its 2026 release of the Hoover adaptation Verity starring Anne Hathaway.
