Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan is facing calls to resign after federal prosecutors settled a 10-year bribery case Friday with ComEd for $200 million. The court filings do not explicitly name Madigan, but describe his job and role as “Public Official A.”

The city and Chicago Public Schools announce a hybrid in-person and virtual instruction plan for the fall as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
