The final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty had a pretty great summer in terms of viewer tune-in.

Some 70 million people worldwide watched the Prime Video series, based on Jenny Hans novel trilogy, according to Amazons internal measurement. Thats a 65 percent jump over the viewership for season two. The viewer numbers are over the span of 70 days, from the July 16 season premiere to Sept. 24, a week after the season finale debuted.

The usual caveats apply to the 70 million figure: Prime Video doesnt say whether thats an average viewer figure for the full season, the number of people who watched at least a few minutes, or something else. The streamer does note that about 60 percent of The Summer I Turned Prettys audience came from outside the United States, with particularly strong showings in the U.K., Germany and Brazil. Season three is also the most watched Prime Video series to date among women under 35.

In the U.S., the series has drawn 5.2 billion minutes of viewing between July 14 and Sept. 7, the most recent date for which Nielsen streaming data is available (and two weeks before the season finale).

Season three was the last full season for the show, but Prime Video has greenlit a feature-length series finale that Han will direct and co-write with Kucserka.
