Apple TV+ is booking a third visit to 1870s London with The Buccaneers.

The streamer has ordered a third season of the series, based on an unfinished Edith Wharton novel, about a group of young American women who head overseas in search of love and adventure. The renewal for The Buccaneers comes two months after the shows second season wrapped in early August.

The season two cast of The Buccaneers features Kristine Frseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Threapleton, Christina Hendricks, Leighton Meester, Grace Ambrose, Maria Almeida, Amelia Bullmore, Fenella Woolgar, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome, Josh Dylan, Barney Fishwick, Greg Wise and Jacob Ifan.

Apple TV+ describes the forthcoming third season this way: When they arrived in England they were all navigating their first loves. Now, theyre looking for the loves of their lives. And with a new and enigmatic Duke at the helm, Tintagel is also facing an uncertain future. If polite English society thought our American girls rocked the boat, this new bad-boy Duke is about to sink the ship.

Jakeways executive produces The Buccaneers with Beth Willis; Joe Innes is also joining the series as an EP on season three. The show comes from The Forge Entertainment, a Banijay U.K. company.
