Sweet Chili Sauce Recipe-February 2024

　　This recipe was created to accompany Roasted Marinated Cornish Hens .

　　Can be prepared in 45 or less.

Ingredients

Makes about 1 1/2 cups

　　3/4 cup sugar

　　1/2 cup water

　　2/3 cup rice or white-wine vinegar

　　4 large garlic cloves, minced

　　3/4 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes

　　3/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1

In a small saucepan combine all ingredients and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Cool sauce to room temperature. Sauce may be made 3 days ahead and kept chilled, covered.

Step 2

Serve sauce at room temperature.
