Two representatives from Gov. Bruce Rauner’s administration, Mike Mahoney, policy adviser for revenue and pensions, and Kim Fowler, a Rauner attorney, addressed the House Personnel and Pensions Committee during a hearing this afternoon. Fowler and Mahoney addressed concerns from the committee over the governor’s proposal and faced questions about how his plan would meet constitutional standards after Friday’s pension ruling.
