Saturday Night Live UK has unveiled its top creative team.

Two-time Emmy winner James Longman will serve as lead producer on Skys British installment of NBCs venerable hit sketch show. His credits include The Late Late Show with James Corden as well as popular U.K. comedy projects Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Alan Car: Chatty Man.

Elsewhere, Liz Clare joins SNL UK as director and Daran Jonno Johnson as head writer. Clare has directed some of the countrys most-watched live broadcasts of recent years including An Audience with Adele, the BRIT Awards, the BAFTA Film Awards and Glastonbury music festival.

Writer-comedian-composer Johnson is one-third of sketch group Sheeps. His writing credits include Wedding Season for Disney+ and Siblings for the BBC.

Lorne Michaels, creator and executive producer of the original series, is also an EP on the U.K. edition.

After several years in LA, its amazing to come back home to such a vibrant and exciting live comedy scene, said Longman. Saturday Night Live has set the bar for live sketch comedy for half a century, and to help bring that legacy to London using our amazing on-screen and off-screen talent, along with a tremendous investment in U.K. production, is a massive honour.

SNL UK will be produced by Universal Television Alternative Studios U.K. production team and Broadway Video for Sky and Now.
