Jamie Lee Curtis, Maude Apatow, Tessa Thompson, Dede Gardner, Gabrielle Nadig,Mara Brock Akil and Regina King are among the leading ladies who will be celebrated at this years WIF Honors ceremony.

The event, which will take place Nov. 6 at the Beverly Hilton and be hosted by Atsuko Okatsuka, will be themedUnity, highlighting that a shared commitment to equity, sustainability and stories that represent the breadth of the human experience can transform culture.

WIF (Women in Film, Los Angeles) will present the Crystal Award for Advocacy in Film toTessa Thompson, Nia DaCosta(honored in absentia), Dede GardnerandGabrielle Nadig for their upcoming filmHedda, and the Crystal Award for Advocacy in TV toMara Brock Akil, Judy Blume(honored in absentia)andRegina King for their collaboration on Netflix seriesForever. Curtiswill receive the Jane Fonda Humanitarian Award named in 2021 for its inaugural recipient Jane Fonda for both her artistic legacy and philanthropic impact.And celebrating WIFs 20-year partnership with Max Mara,Maude Apatow fresh off her directorial debutPoetic License will be honored with the annual WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award, which recognizes a rising star who embodies style and grace.

This years WIF honorees exemplify how artists are using their voices to drive change, WIF CEOKirsten Schaffer said in a statement. From rising talent like Maude Apatow to legends like Jamie Lee Curtis and Mara Brock Akil, their inspiring work, both on and off screen, reminds us that solidarity and connectedness are what will protect us, and our ability to tell stories that reflect our full humanity.
