The scandal involving the Metra Board's controversial ouster of former CEO Alex Clifford prompted Gov. Pat Quinn to form a task force to assess all three of the area's transit agencies. That task force met for the first time today. The governor says he wants the 15-member panel not only to look into possible fraud and abuse at the agencies, but also to come up with a report on how to improve rapid transit service.
