Napa Valley StreamFest: Diane Warren Set for Award, Q&A After New Documentary-May 2024

The legendary songwriter Diane Warren the woman behind countless hit tunes including How Do I Live, Dont Want to Miss a Thing, If I Could Turn Back Time and Un-Break My Heart will be celebrated at the inaugural Napa Valley StreamFest with the fests Visionary Tribute Award, the fest announced Wednesday.

The Warren festivities will all happen at the Uptown Theatre in Downtown Napa on Saturday, April 26, starting with a 6:30 pm PT screening of Bess Kargmans new documentary about the 16-time Oscar nominee, Diane Warren: Relentless. That will be immediately followed by a QA with Warren (moderated by yours truly) and then the presentation of the award. Napa Valley StreamFest is dedicated to celebrating outstanding storytelling across film, television, podcasts and digital media. Set against the stunning backdrop of Northern Californias wine country, the festival offers a blend of screenings, live conversations, industry panels and immersive experiences, fostering meaningful connections between creators and audiences.

The 2025 edition, which runs April 24-27, will also honor the acclaimed actor, writer and producer Jason Segel, who will be fted with the TV Performance of the Year Award in recognition of his work on Apple TV+s hit dramedy Shrinking, and who will then participate in a live recording of THRs Awards Chatter podcast (moderated by yours truly); and Meredith Hagner, a star of the new series Bad Monkey, who will receive the Spotlight Tribute Award.

Other attendees will include Jay Duplass and writer/actor Michael Strassner, on hand for the west coast premiere of The Baltimorons; NBA All-Star turned entrepreneur Baron Davis; and photographer/filmmaker Sam Jones.
