Michigan pizzeria sent from heaven will deliver a pie and plow your driveway for $30
Michigan pizzeria sent from heaven will deliver a pie and plow your driveway for $30-February 2024
Feb 11, 2026 5:29 PM

Tony Glorioso has driven a snow plow for eight or nine years. This past summer, he and his wife took over Mario’s Pizza in the quaint lake town of Union Pier, Michigan, which sees a big dip in traffic during the winter months. So, Glorioso says, he hatched a plan.

Watching the snow fall and fall outside the pizzeria’s windows for the past few weeks, he wondered if he shouldn’t leave the restaurant and fire up the plow. But he was reticent to leave the pizzeria duties all to his wife, so he found a way to deliver both pies and plowing.

“I’m not that smart, but I figured, why not do both?” Glorioso told The Takeout.

For $30, he’ll deliver a large, one-topping pizza and clear your driveway with the plow hooked up to his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado truck.

Glorioso says five or six people a night take him up on the deal, which ends up costing a little more than $31 with tax. (And let’s hope folks are tipping well, too.)

This is, to his knowledge, the only pie-and-plowing deal of its kind, but it’s one that East Coast pizzerias should probably consider this weekend.
