May 23, 2025 3:09 AM

Lionsgate has upped Chase Brisbin to executive vp, international SVOD sales and head of global channels, charged with overseeing the studios growing FAST (free, ad-supported streaming TV) channels business.

The promotion, announced by Lionsgate president of worldwide television distribution Jim Packer, will see Brisbin manage Lionsgates stable of over two dozen FAST channels worldwide. That includes the MovieSphere premium movie channel for which Nielsen recently struck a deal with Lionsgateto provide audience measurement for the FAST channel. Both Nielsen and Lionsgate touted the agreement for MovieSphere as a first for a major FAST outlet as the free, ad-supported streaming marketcontinues to grow.

Having most recently served as executive vp, international television and digital distribution, Brisbin, a 12-year veteran at Liongate, will continue to oversee licensing and distributing the studios feature films, premium TV series, STARZ original series and exploit the studios film and TV library.

Her promotion comes as Lionsgate continues growing its global distribution business, licensing content from its 20,000-title film and TV library to international TV platforms.

Chase is a respected and forward-looking executive with a strong grasp of emerging trends in the global marketplace. As the distribution landscape continues to evolve, her perspective and expertise make her the natural choice to lead our global FAST business while continuing her oversight of our International SVOD business, Packer said in a statement.

Earlier, Brisbin opened new international markets with film output deals, and sold The Continental seriesto Amazon Prime.Lionsgate currently holds around 87 percent of the outstanding shares of recently-launched Lionsgate Studios, which trades on the NASDAQ Exchange.
