“Let’s get this bread…?”

　　As an old person, I am usually not down with the youths of today, so I would have been equally flummoxed by the text message Twitter user Satomaa sent her dad. You probably know this already, but apparently “let’s get this bread” is a phrase akin to “let’s go to work,” “let’s go make some money,” and as I like to imagine it, “let’s go attack the day.” But when Satomaa texted that message to her dad, he took it literally:

　　which caused other people to send their “let’s get this bread” responses from their own parents:

　　I don’t know why I find this so hilarious, but apparently I’m not alone as Satomaa has now gone so viral, she’s promoting artwork via her Twitter feed. Maybe I’m just viewing my not-too-distant future.

Hell yeah, taco-slinging snowcat

　　Taco cat is not just the greatest food palindrome, but taco cat is about to be a hit on the ski slopes of Steamboat Springs, Colorado this winter. There, Steamboat Ski Resort has rigged up a snowcat, which I can only describe as a military tank crossed with a snowmobile, to serve tacos to hungry skiers and snowboarders.
