　　I don’t have any harsh feelings toward Gordon Ramsay, but yeah, sometimes he can be seem like a dick. Though this clip of him is from years ago, it’s recently resurfaced on Twitter and people are really enjoying watching Ramsay get slammed for cooking a mediocre pad Thai. [Kate Bernot]

Pacific Rim: Uprising

　　A child of the ’70s, I grew up loving disaster movies (like Poseidon Adventure) and giant monster movies (like Mothra Vs. Godzilla). So I’m still a fan of dumb popcorn movies that offer almost nothing but mass destruction. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many things smashed to smithereens as in Pacific Rim: Uprising, which I went to see with my son this week. Yes, the plot was paper-thin and the “Jaegers” just look like giant Rock’em Sock’em robots to me—I still enjoyed seeing them fight giant space monsters while knocking down more than a few buildings/cars/icebergs. And the movie gets bonus points for including Charlie Day as a savvy scientist. Now my boy and I are counting down the days until Rampage opens. [Gwen Ihnat]
