Forever on Amazon Prime

　　A ton of stuff dropped over the weekend for your streaming pleasure, like season five of BoJack Horseman ( a must-see), season two of American Vandal (I want to watch but would probably get too grossed out), and the premiere of The First (meh). I took advantage of a sleepy Sunday morning to binge all eight (half-hour) episodes of Forever on Amazon Prime. It stars Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph as a longtime married couple, with many surprising thematic turns in store. It has a lot to say about the ennui that goes along with marriage and even just day-to-day life. If you like Armisen’s dry humor in Portlandia and Documentary Now!, he’s straight up hilarious here. But Rudolph is the series’ real standout, as the solid repetitiveness of her life fills her with a rage that causes her to lash out in unexpected ways.
