Ted Lasso star Juno Temple is returning to Apple TV+ in a different series.

The four-time Emmy nominee will star in a comedic drama called The Husbands, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Holly Gramazio. The show comes from A24, which also produced Sunny and Mr. Corman for the streamer.

Temple remains in negotiations to reprise her role as Keeley Jones in Ted Lasso, which Apple recently picked up for a fourth season.

In The Husbands, Temple will play Lauren, who comes home to her flat in London and is greeted by her husband, Michael. Theres only one problem shes never seen him before in her life, the shows description reads.As Lauren tries to puzzle out how she could be married to someone she cant remember meeting, Michael goes to the attic to change a lightbulb and abruptly disappears. In his place, a new husband emerges. Realizing that her attic is creating an infinite supply of husbands, Lauren confronts the question: If swapping lives is as easy as changing a lightbulb, how do you know youve taken the right path? When do you stop trying to do better and start actuallyliving? Miriam Battye (Succession, Prime Videos Dead Ringers) will be the lead writer on The Husbands, which will run for eight episodes. Battye executive produces with lead director Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) and Annie Marter of Fortunate Jack Productions, Gramazio and A24.

Temple earned three Emmy nominations for her work on Ted Lasso and a fourth for her lead role in the most recent season of Fargo on FX. Her credits also include Venom: The Last Dance, The Offer and Dirty John.
