IL General Assembly Overturns Quinn's Veto on Concealed Carry-November 2024

Concealed carry is legal in Illinois, as the legislature deals another blow to Gov. Pat Quinn. Quinn called the legislaturein for its second special session of the year, vowing "consequences" if no pension deal was passed. But legislators instead overturned his amendatory veto of concealed carry legislation.
