Ingredients:
- 500g damson plums
- 100g granulated sugar

- 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (or 350°F).Wash the damson plums thoroughly, remove the stones, and cut them into halves.In a mixing bowl, combine the halved damson plums with granulated sugar and let them macerate for about 15 minutes to release their juices.In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, rolled oats, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.Transfer the macerated damson plums into a baking dish and spread them evenly.Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the damson plums, covering them completely.Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the crumble topping turns golden brown and the damson plums are soft and bubbling.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.See also How to make tarragon vinegar?
