Definition: Qingma, also known as Chinese quince or Pseudocydonia sinensis, is a deciduous fruit tree native to China. It is primarily propagated through two methods: seed propagation and vegetative propagation.

Seed Propagation

Seed propagation is the most common method used to propagate Qingma. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to propagate Qingma from seeds:

Seed Collection: Collect mature fruits from a healthy Qingma tree. The fruits should be fully ripe and have a yellowish color.

Seed Extraction: Cut open the fruits and remove the seeds. Rinse the seeds thoroughly to remove any pulp or debris.
