The use of renewable energy sources refers to the utilization of energy derived from naturally replenishing sources such as sunlight, wind, water, and geothermal heat. This form of energy production is considered sustainable as it does not deplete finite resources and has minimal negative impact on the environment.

Renewable energy sources play a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions, which are a major contributor to climate change. Unlike fossil fuels, which release large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases when burned, renewable energy sources produce little to no emissions during operation.
