5. Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea, a condition characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep, can also affect pregnant women. Hormonal changes and weight gain during pregnancy can increase the risk of developing sleep apnea. This condition can lead to fragmented sleep, excessive daytime sleepiness, and other complications if left untreated.
