Honest question: Does Ken Jeong’s response to this, our favorite thing to ask famous people, carry more weight because he’s also a licensed physician? He’s a man of science! Surely when it comes to the issue of hot dogs and sandwiches, that must count for something.

　　I’ll leave that for y’all to decide. What I can say is that, of all the people who’ve answered this question for us, Dr. Ken is the only one who successfully pivoted back to the project he was ostensibly promoting. It’s perhaps unsurprising, given how nimbly Jeong pivoted from medicine to acting. He’s been a busy guy since first hanging up his stethoscope (I’m assuming he used a stethoscope, don’t all doctors use stethoscopes?), with a breakout role in Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up leading to similarly standout turns in Community, the Hangover franchise, and other such comedical works. 　　But now he’s onto the next, and given how deftly Jeong moved from talking about hot dogs to name-dropping Fox’s forthcoming The Masked Singer, I figure the least I can do is close by telling you about The Masked Singer.

　　The Masked Singer, which debuts on Wednesday, January 2 on Fox, is freaking bonkers.

　　It’s based on the South Korean series King Of Masked Singer, which is similarly nutso. In it, famous people put on elaborate head to toe costumes, answer questions in altered voices, and then sing in their own voices.

　　Between all 12 of the celebrity competitors on the show, they’ve amassed 65 Grammy nominations, 16 multi-platinum albums, 16 Emmy nominations, nine Broadway shows, four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and four Super Bowl titles. One singer will be eliminated each week, ultimately revealing his or her true identity. Hear them sing, get the clues and guess the celebrity.
