The spice rub that we have used in this recipe works equally well with other steaks such as sirloin.
Ingredients
Serves 21 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 1/4 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
two 1/2-inch-thick rib-eye steaks (each about 6 ounces)
Step 1
In a bowl stir together lime juice, chili powder, cumin, and salt and pepper to taste. Pat steaks dry and spread spice rub on both sides of each steak.
