Fox Entertainment has found an executive to lead its nascent Fox Creator Studios division, which will work with new and emerging creators in categories relevant to the companys programming.

Fox has hired Billy Parks to head Creator Studios.

A veteran of Otter Media, Fullscreen and Astronauts Wanted, Parks was recently an operating partner at The Chernin Group and a venture partner at Slow Ventures Creator Fund.

Fox Creator Studios is making its first deals in the popular food category, including partnership with marquee talent like Gordon Ramsay through Studio Ramsay Global, Rosanna Pansino, Jolly, Sorted Food, The Food Theorists and Little Remy Food.

Parks is expected to expand that into other verticals.
