Early Voting Kicks Off Friday in Chicago at Downtown Supersites -February 2024

In-person early voting for the November general election kicks off Friday in Chicago at a pair of downtown sites.

A supersite at 191 N. Clark St. and the Board of Elections office at 69 W. Washington St., 6th floor, will be open weekdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours will be extended to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 5 p.m. on Saturdays, from October 31 to November 7.

The supersite will remain open on Election Day but the board office will be closed for voting.

Early voting sites will open to all Chicago voters and voter registration services will be available. Two forms of ID are needed in order to register.

What's on the ballot? A number of statewide offices, including governor, are up for grabs, as well as Cook County and General Assembly races.

When does early voting begin citywide? Early voting sites in each of Chicago's 50 wards will open October 24.Hours will be weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Election Day, November 8, these sites will be open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
