The country has descended into violent disarray in the forthcoming thriller feature All the Lost Ones.

Director Mackenzie Donaldsons film is set to hit select theaters on April 18 from Epic Pictures before debuting via digital platforms on April 22, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively reveal. The ensemble cast includes Devon Sawa, Douglas Smith, Jasmine Mathews, Sheila McCarthy, Steven Ogg and Vinessa Antoine.

All the Lost Ones is set amid a dystopian America, where a civil war has torn the nation apart. The film centers on a group of individuals hiding out in a cabin when they are targeted by a ruthless rebel militia leader and his platoon. This is what you want? a desperate Mathews asks in the trailer that can be seen below. Turn ourselves in to the armed maniacs in the woods?

Later in the footage, Sawa warns, Nobody here is innocent.

Donaldson helmed the project from a script by Cheryl Meyer and Antony Grant. Donaldson, Yas Taalat, Chantal Kemp, Yipeng Ben Lu and David J. Phillips serve as producers.

With a backdrop of an invasion and war on North American soil, All the Lost Ones feels more urgent than ever and Epic is the perfect partner to bring that intensity to audiences, Donaldson says. They know how to deliver bold, thrilling, thought-provoking films, and I cant wait for people to experience the ride.

All the Lost Ones premiered last year at the Cinefest Sudbury International Film Festival.

Adds Epic CEO Patrick Ewald, Mackenzie Donaldson has crafted a gripping thriller that feels both timely and timeless. With powerhouse performances from Jasmine Mathews, Douglas Smith and a chilling turn from Devon Sawa, this is a film that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Sawa is known for such movies as Final Destination and Idle Hands and has more recently appeared on the series Chucky and Hacks and in last months feature Heart Eyes. Smiths credits include Big Little Lies and Kevin Costners Horizon: An American Saga film series. Mathews has recurred on The Rookie and appeared in such films as The Tomorrow War and The Man From Toronto.
