‘Dancing With the Stars’ Honors ‘Wicked’ as Jon M. Chu Guest Judges and Two Couples Earn Near-Perfect Scores: See the Scores, Who Went Home-March 2024

[This story contains spoilers from episode six ofDancing With the Starsseason 34.]

The Dancing With the Stars cast were quite literally dancing through life on Tuesdays Wicked Night.

Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold were eliminated from the show at the end of the night. Their exit from the competition comes after last weeks Dedication Night, where no couples were eliminated.

Contestants celebrated the forthcoming sequel to Jon M. Chus Wicked with ballroom performances set to music from across the beloved musical-turned-film. And who better to serve as a guest judge for the night than Chu himself, joining mainstay judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli with a night full of dance to commemorate the upcoming Wicked: For Good. Heading into Wicked Night, the cast was intact with 10 contestants at the midway point of the competition. Remaining celebrities include Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, Olympian Jordan Chiles, social media star Alix Earle, The Traitors season three winner (and Zac Efrons brother) Dylan Efron, actresses Danielle Fishel and Elaine Hendrix, conservationist (and son of Steve Irwin) Robert Irwin, comedian-actor Andy Richter and Pentatonixs Hoying, who was eliminated Tuesday night.

For the first time throughout season 34, Efron rose to the top of the leaderboard last week while performing a number set to his brother Zacs song Rewrite the Stars. He notably became the first contestant to earn four nines, marking the highest score of the competition at that point with a 35/40.

But he was quickly dethroned, as Leavitt earned the first set of 10s of the competition for her quickstep to Popular. All of the judges, except Hough, gave the reality star a 10, leaving her just one point away from earning a perfect 40/40. However, she didnt stay at the top of the leaderboard alone for long, as Chiles also earned a 39/40, tying her as the top scoring couple of week six.

Wicked Night proved to be a highlight for many more of the celebrities, including Irwin, Hendrix and Fishel, who all scored a 36/40, each earning nines from all four of the judges. Its no surprise that contestants have begun earning their highest marks of season 34, as only five weeks of competition remain until the grand finale.

At the end of each night of the competition, the couple with the lowest combined total of judges scores and viewer votes is eliminated. Live voting takes place during the East Coast airing of each show and ends shortly after the final dance is completed.

Because no one was eliminated from the competition last week, the results from Dedication Night were carried over and combined with the contestants Wicked Night scores.
