Cook County Data Shows Disparities in Delinquent Houses-February 2024

Recent data from the Cook County Treasurer's office shows that homes owned in predominantly Black communities are more likely to be listed as delinquent than homes in predominantly white communities.

But the Cook County Treasurer says that's only because many homeowners miss exemptions that could save them thousands of dollars.
