Mayor Rahm Emanuel is confronted at two heated Town Hall budget meetings. Meanwhile, the mayor orders his Police Superintendent to slash $190 million from the Police Department budget. Wisconsin labor leaders join a Chicago Teachers Union Labor Day rally over the longer school day standoff with Schools Chief Jean-Claude Brizard. And in Sports, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen demands a contract extension, but does he deserve it? And the Chicago Bears battle the Cleveland Browns, and look ahead to the season opener.
