Speed cameras issue 2,722 tickets in the first month, and though the revenue was supposed to go to children, it’s nowhere in the city budget. The Tribune Company cuts nearly 700 jobs nationwide. France warns its travelers about parts of Chicago, and Mayor Rahm Emanuel replies in character. And in sports, the Bears head for St. Louis after a stormy win in overtime.
