Neon and Universal Pictures Content Group have teamed to grab up worldwide rights, to Baz LuhrmannsEPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert.
EPiCwill hit theaters in 2026, with Neon handling the pic domestically, while Universal has international duties.
From Sony Music Vision, Bazmark and Authentic Studios, the film debuted in official selection at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival to strong reviews.EPiCfeatures long-lost footage from Presleys legendary Vegas residency in the 1970s, woven together with rare 16mm footage fromElvis on Tour, and 8mm from the Graceland archive, plus recordings of Elvis telling his story. The audio was rediscovered during Luhrmanns research for his 2022 hit,Elvis. EPiCmarks Luhrmanns second major project centered on the King of Rock n Roll, followingElvis,which grossed $300 million globally earnedeight Academy Award nominations including a nom for best actor for star Austin Butler won multiple BAFTAs and Golden Globes, including wins for Butler.
