Ingredients
serves 6 to 81 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, at room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or in a large mixing bowl with a handheld mixer, beat together the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth and creamy, 4 to 5 minutes.
Cooks' Note
Swap cider for the liquid (water or milk) in your favorite golden cake mix and make a cake or cupcakes. Top with the cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
