American Cinematheque Award recipient Michael B. Jordan will further be honored at the Nov. 20 gala with a career retrospective in the weeks leading up to the event, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

In May, the organization announced the Sinners star would receive its top honor. The retrospective will celebrate and showcase key performances by the actor, culminating in a 70mm presentation of Sinners with filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Jordan in person.

On Nov. 5, fans will be able to watch Jordans breakout performance in 2013s Fruitvale Station, followed by 2015s Creed on Nov. 7; 2019s Just Mercy on Nov. 14; 2018s Black Panther on Nov. 15; and Sinners, the main event, on Nov. 22, after the gala. Jordan, a director, actor, producer and entrepreneur, starred as twin brothers Stack and Smoke in Cooglers film Sinners, which marks their fifth collaboration. He made his directorial debut with Creed III, and will next direct and star in The Thomas Crown Affair. He is a TIME 100 honoree and Academy Museum Vanguard Award recipient.

Jordan joins previous American Cinematheque Award winners like Spike Lee, Ryan Reynolds, Reese Witherspoon, Ridley Scott, Amy Adams, Helen Mirren and, last year, Jessica Chastain.

The American CinemathequeAwardswill take place at The Beverly Hilton as an annual fundraiser for the non-profit backing year-round programming at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, the Los Feliz 3 Theatre in Los Feliz and the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
