Aisha Bowe, an aerospace engineerwho flew to sub-orbital space onBlue OriginsNew Shepard rocket in mid-April, has signed with CAA.

The Hollywood talent agency will work with Bowe to expand opportunities in publishing, speaking, podcasting, commercial endorsements and non-scripted television. The former NASA rocket scientist was among the first-ever citizen astronauts (along with Katy Perry and Gayle King) to fly on Jeff Bezos spacecraft for a 10-minute all-female journey to and from space.

Bowe is also the founder and CEO of STEMBoard, an engineering firm, and the creator of LINGO, a hands-on coding kit currently used by over 10,000 students, with a goal to reach one million learners over the next decade. Her recent Blue Origin flight marked a milestone in a career that bridges aerospace, entrepreneurship and global advocacy for STEM, which is an umbrella term for science, technology, engineering and mathematics to promote their study.

Bowe was featured in the documentary In Her Elementfrom Reese Witherspoons media company Hello Sunshine and HPE, about key women in technology.And she had championed STEM and entrepreneurship in countries including Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Croatia, and South Africa.

Honors earned by Bowe include the NASA Equal Employment Opportunity Medal, STEM for Her Woman of the Year, U.S. Womens Chamber of Commerce Emerging Star Award and NASAs Engineering Honor Award.
