Need some, have none
You can substitute honey, maple syrup, or corn syrup in your baking. In place of 1/2 cup agave, use 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup. You may have to adjust amounts if you are making a large batch of something. Substitute 3/4 cup corn syrup for 1/2 cup agave, but reduce the other liquids in the recipe by a couple tablespoons. Using sugar in place of agave syrup is not recommended because of the difference in moisture, but if you must, you’ll need more sugar (1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons to every 1/2 cup of agave) and you may need to up the liquid in your recipe by 2 or 3 tablespoons.
