For all of the hype around Disney+ adding Hulu to its hub, the latter isnt the one that desperately needs the help. Hulu has a robust selection of new movies and shows every month. By comparison, Disney+s lineup for April is particularly light. Combined, Hulu and Disney+ can compete with the other streamers, but Disney+ isnt offering much incentive for subscribers on its own.

The biggest addition to Disney+ in April is Wish, the animated musical that kicked off the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Pictures late last year. But for younger viewers, they may be more interested in new episodes of Bluey and Spidey and his Amazing Friends. Older fans will still have fresh episodes ofX-Men 97 and Star Wars: The Bad Batch throughout the month. And for nature lovers, there are new programs about tigers and octopuses. The National Geographic programming is always a better investment for Disney+ viewers than reality shows like Dance Moms, which is also on the schedule this month.
