Kristen Wiig is joining Jonah Hill in the Warner Bros. comedy feature Cut Off, with the stars playing a pair of entitled siblings.

Hill directs the movie that the studio has set for worldwide theatrical release on July 17, 2026. He and Ezra Woods penned the script for the film that Jesse Ehrman and Zach Hamby are overseeing for the studio. Production is set to begin this fall.

Cut Off centers on a pair of siblings whose wealthy parents stop supporting financially. Hill, Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin produce for Strong Baby. Hill previously wrapped production on the Apple featureOutcome, which is slated for release in spring of 2026 and stars Hill opposite Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer. Hill produced the film through his Strong Baby banner alongside Dines and Goodwin.

Strong Baby is also behind the Benito Skinner-led seriesOvercompensatingfrom Amazon and A24.

Wiig executive produces and stars in Apples Palm Royale, which launches its second season in the fall after she landed an Emmy nomination for its initial season. She appears as the villain in the Universal Pictures feature Gabbys Dollhouse: The Movie, hitting theaters Sept. 26.
