There may be some nostalgia in this assessment, but few films have mixed horror and comedy as well as the original Ghostbusters. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson were at the top of their game, and the movie is filled with hilarious quotes and one-liners.

That would have been enough for a hit film by itself, but Ghostbusters takes things further by throwing the four members of the team into a supernatural tempest that could mean the end of the world. It all centers around a woman named Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) and a geeky guy named Louis Tully (Rick Moranis). If the Ghostbusters cant figure out whats haunting these two, then New York is doomed, and everything else will be dragged down with it.
